Shadows to Sunshine Preset

What are the "Shadows to Sunshine" presets about?

The "Shadows to Sunshine" presets are my creation, designed to transform your gloomy travel photos into vibrant, stunning images. These presets are specifically designed for Adobe Lightroom Classic, taking advantage of its AI mask development feature. The presets include three variations:

  • Shadows to Sunshine Yellow: This preset adds a warm, yellowish hue to your photos, mimicking the effect of a golden hour glow. It's perfect for adding a touch of warmth to overcast or gloomy photos.
  • Shadows to Sunshine Bright: This preset brightens your photos, enhancing the details and colors. It's ideal for photos that are underexposed or taken in low-light conditions.
  • Shadows to Sunshine Bright II: This preset is a more intense version of the Shadows to Sunshine Bright preset. It provides a stronger brightening effect, making it suitable for photos that are significantly underexposed.

Once you've applied a preset, you can adjust its intensity within the mask section. Simply select the mask and reduce or increase the intensity as needed. This allows you to customize the effect of the preset to best suit your photo. Be aware that these presets can overexpose your image, but you can reduce the amount of the masks in the amount slider of each mask selection.

Remember, the idea of the "Shadows to Sunshine" presets is to enhance your photos, not to completely alter them. Therefore, it's recommended to choose the preset that best fits your photo and adjust the intensity to achieve a natural, appealing look.

After you've used these presets, I invites you to share your experience on Instagram. You can tag me in your posts or use the hashtag #GloomyToGlorious to share your transformed photos and thoughts on the presets.
