Admire the natural beauty of Kerið Crater Lake in Iceland. The vibrant blue waters are set against the stunning backdrop of reddish-brown cliffs, creating a breathtaking contrast. In Iceland rain can strike any moment but it can also reward you with unexpected beauty. Before taking this picture, I spent the whole day in dreary drizzle until the sky burst open and a glorious rainbow appeared in the evening sun. Iceland’s staggering nature, its dazzling green fields and stark expanses, can be difficult to catch in a single picture so I stitched two 15mm images together to capture the astonishing scenery at the Kerið (Kerith), a 3000 year old volcanic crater in the south of the island.
