I am excited to announce that I have preordered the latest in-ear monitor (IEM) from Moondrop, called “The Droplet“. This single-balanced armature (BA) IEM is currently primarily available in China and features a fixed cable and a DSP USB-C connection. The Droplet is inspired by the popular Chinese science fiction novel “Three-Body Problem” by Liu Cixin and is being released in conjunction with the new Chinese TV series adaptation of the book.
The Droplet is Moondrop‘s latest addition to their line of in-ear monitors and is set to be released on January 31st, 2023.
“Update 04.02.2023: The review is now avaliable here.”
One of the key features of The Droplet is its DSP USB-C connection, which allows for a high-quality audio experience for everyone. The sleek and futuristic design of the IEM is also a standout feature, with a glossy silver exterior and a pointed front end. The Droplet is a homage to the novel “Three-Body Problem” and it is expected to be a hit among fans of the book and audio enthusiasts alike.
Moondrop is known for producing high-quality IEMs at affordable prices, and The Droplet is no exception. Other popular Moondrop IEMs include the KXXS, A12, and Blessing2. With the release of The Droplet, Moondrop continues to set its position as a leading brand in the world of in-ear monitors.
