Creating a Stunning Static Time Lapse with 366 Captures: The Rainbow Bridge Example

A photo of the Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo, showing the result of a static time lapse project using 366 captures. The bridge and city lights are visible, with a smooth and consistent appearance.

The main idea behind this project was to present a full 1.5-hour time lapse in a single, static image. The final image was created by averaging 366 individual exposures from the time-lapse sequence, with a custom-developed algorithm that took into account image information from multiple images to generate a smooth result.
